Formula
Example
For UET: Matric 1000/1200 gives 14.167, FSc 950/1200 gives 39.583 and ECAT 220/400 gives 18.15. The aggregate is 71.9%.
Why NUST and UET differ
NUST puts 75% weight on its own NET test, so your test score decides most of your merit. UET gives half the weight to FSc, so strong board marks matter more there.
