- Copy a password.
Formula
Example
A 16-character password using all four types is about 100 bits — practically impossible to guess.
What makes a password strong
- At least 12–16 characters
- A mix of upper and lower case, numbers and symbols
- No names, birthdays, CNIC or phone numbers
- A different password for every account
Keep passwords safe
Use a password manager to store them, turn on two-step verification for email, banking and WhatsApp, and never share codes sent by SMS. Banks never ask for your PIN or OTP on the phone.
For business accounts
Give every staff member their own login instead of one shared password. When someone leaves, you only need to close their account.
